Red coloured boards with black coloured titles to the spine. Coloured illustrated paperback binding with black, dark and light purple coloured titles to the front panel and blue and black coloured titles to the back strip. There is no easily ascertained date of this book's printing, but on the verso of the rear panel it states "Made and printed in Great Britain by Purnell and Sons, Ltd, Paulton (Somerset) and London”, with no SBN. Softening of the back strip edges with bumping of the book corners and lower book edges. Tanning of the text block edges and pages faint foxing to the text edges. Offset tanning to the end pages with gift inscription, dated 1968, to the top edge of the free front end page.. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges. Creasing of the dustwrapper edges with rubbing to the fold over creases, either side of the back strip and some to the dustwrapper panels. Handling marks can be seen to the rear panel.
