There is a chip to the top of the spine, which is helped to present nicely with a photocopy of a 1st edition wrapper beneath. This is now such a scarce item to find. So, Christmas at Kirrin Cottage with the Five, and their second thrilling adventure, what could be better? Well, this treasure as it also contains a hand-written envelope, with stamp and postmark 1947, where Miss Blyton has written to the addressee, and written "From Enid Blyton" at the top of the envelope... super to have a perfect genuine signature, and the bonus of the handwritten address too!!.
