No Place, Black Panther Party, Presumed Publisher, 1970. Wraps. No place: 1970. 2 sheets, 8 ½ by 11 inches, stapled together at the top left edge. 4 pages. Image of Huey Newton on page three. A statement by Huey Newton seeking to dispel some rumors, while perhaps engaging in innuendo of his own. Newton states that he believes Stokely Carmichael is an agent for the CIA, and disavows his actions in the name of the Black Panther Party (Stokely apparently leading a delegation of Black Panthers in Jordan). Huey Newton declares Carmichael to be acting on his own and for endorsing a vision of Black Power that adheres to capitalist practices that suppress Black people. While expressing allegiance with the people of Palestine, Newton asserts that the Black Panther Party is not anti-Semitic, and elucidates a complex position on the Palestinian and Israeli conflict. VERY GOOD. General toning. Minor fading to the text, presumable from poor reproduction technology. Very Good .
