[LGBTQ+] - Studio One Discotheque Matchbook Cover

Hollywood, CA, Studio One, Publisher. Unbound. no date, presumed 1980s. Measures approximately 2 by 1 ½ inches. Bright purple with white lettering. Studio One logo on the front, with the text "Discotheque, Dining, Dancing, Entertainment," on the reverse, along with the address of 652 N. La Peer Dr. Hollywood. Studio One was a noted gay/lgbtq+ bar serving the Los Angeles area. It opened in 1974 and was bought, changing names, in the 1990s. While it was sometimes a spot that featured prominently in the gay rights movement in the LA area, it also sometimes had a reputation for catering to upper class white males. GOOD condition. Minor creasing to the covers, with a few bumps and scuffs along the edges. Two or three matches missing from the interior. Good .

Shipping rates provided upon request based on the country of receipt. Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
