This is the text of Fowles' translation of Bernard's play which was performed at the National Theatre in 1985 and includes Fowles introduction. To the best of our knowledge this text has never been published in any format. The inside of the front wrapper bears a sticker with the name and address of an American correspondent of Fowles. The final page is a the name and address of the London printer. Uncommon. Fine/Issued without dust jacket.
