- African American Man Tintype Photograph

No Place, No publisher. Unbound. No indication of photographer, place or date. Photo measures roughly 3 ½ by 2 3/8 inches. Presumed produced any time from the 1860s to early 1900s. PROVENANCE: none really. This came in a collection of other tintypes and cabinet card photographs of African Americans, with a few of the later photos indicating they were taken in New Orleans and Waco, Texas. There is no indication as to whether these were family photos, or photos collected by an individual. This photograph depicts a young man, seated presumably in a studio, wearing a pinstripe shirt with a vest. The photo is in GOOD condition. The photo is a bit soiled and faded. Some light discoloration present along the edges. The reverse of the metal is tarnished, soiled and somewhat worn. Good .

We charge a media ship rate of $4.50 for the first book plus $2.00 per each additional books. We ship internationally with the US post office. Shipping rates provided upon request based on the country of receipt. Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
