East Village Other was an underground newspaper from New York (duh), known for its early embrace of the counterculture and counterculture aesthetics, often using absurdist pieces to provide social commentary. As an early proponent of the underground comix movement, EVO published work by R. Crumb (not in this issue) and others, as well as publishing a paper devoted to comix. This issue with the usual movement, music, drug and counterculture musings, etc. including the dialectics from a liberation conference in London. With comix by Spain Rodriguez and Kim Deitch. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. Moderate toning. A few small tears and creases along the fore edge. Mailing label on the upper front cover. Good .

Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
