A bound volume of this long running journal devoted to the history of African Americans. The journal was founded in 1916 by Carter Woodson, providing one of the first venues for the publication of works devoted to the African American experience. It is still published today, in the name "The Journal of African American History." These issues include articles such as: "Case of the Court House Rioters;" "New York Slave Conspiracy;" "Negro Marshals in Indian Territory," etc. GOOD condition, ex-library. Library stamps on the page edges, along with a few in the interior. Light fading to the covers. Good .
