The Committee of Returned Volunteers was founded in 1966, consisting of people who had formerly worked in a volunteer capacity in various service programs in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the United States. Adhering to an anti-imperialist stance, the group opposed the Vietnam War and saw racism and imperialism as inextricably linked. Many of its actions focused on anti-imperialist activities in Africa, although domestic concerns were also addressed. This issue with a look at imperialism and liberation; the spring offensive of antiwar activities; a page devoted to a report from Okinawa, where Japanese citizens stormed the US base there in response to a US soldier running a citizen over and leaving them to die. GOOD condition. Minor fading and toning, with a hint of soiling. Light foxing along the edges. Minor chipping along the edges. Horizontal fold crease present. Mailing stamps, address and cancellations on the last page. Good .

We charge a media ship rate of $4.50 for the first book plus $2.00 per each additional books. We ship internationally with the US post office. Shipping rates provided upon request based on the country of receipt. Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
