Indians At Work was a publication that was started to show the work of the Civilian Conservation Corps Indian Division. It was published from 1933 to 1945. This issue with a variety of short articles, including "Girl Scout of the Santa Fe Indian School;" "Sioux Warriors;" "Fort Hall Indians Speak;" "The Chuckchee Children," etc. Many articles bear a tone that views Native Americans and their culture as a sort of novelty. GOOD condition. Minor to moderate dampstaining along the edges. Minor soiling and toning. Small rust marks near the staples. Rear cover heavily soiled, somewhat grubby and stained. Good .

Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
