Rochester, NY, New Women's Times, Publisher, 1979. Tabloid. Side folding tabloid newspaper format. 12 pp. Black and white photos throughout. Single issue of this newspaper devoted to feminism and women's rights and issues. Formed in the early 1970s, the paper published until 1984. The paper covered local, national and international news related to women and the women's movement, focusing on stories ignored by larger papers. As Karen Hagberg, a local Rochester, New York activist stated about the paper, "We would go out and make the news then come back and report it!" (see outalliance website for previous history). This issue with a special section on the rapist culture in the United States (and elsewhere), discussing pornography and events/protests around this subject. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. General browning. A few small wrinkles and creases. Good .

We charge a media ship rate of $4.50 for the first book plus $2.00 per each additional books. We ship internationally with the US post office. Shipping rates provided upon request based on the country of receipt. Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
