Papyrus was a long running little magazine founded in 1903, well regarded by critics and others, including Ezra Pound. Monahan was noted for his literary and social criticism of American and European culture and literature (see MacLeod, American Little Magazines of the Fin de Siecle, pages 260-262). Single issue, with "The Old Woman" by Ivan Turgenev, as well as work by Leonard Merrick, William Ernest Henley and others. GOOD condition. General toning and minor soiling. Some wrinkling and creasing to the wrappers. Good .

Shipping rates provided upon request based on the country of receipt. Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
