Questo libro ormai raro fu tra i primi ad essere pubblicati da Formiggini quando ancora stampava a Genova (dal 1908); singolare coincidenza: 25 anni dopo Formiggini si suicidava subito dopo l'adozione dei provvedimenti anti-ebraici del regime fascista.
