Bound in full mottled calf. Both volumes rebacked, retaining the period boards, ornate gilt tooling, gilt lines, full gilt edges, marble endpapers. Boards lightly rubbed, some abrasion wear, some loss of gilt lines. Both bindings in very good clean firm condition. Internally, wide margins, previous owners bookplate, occasional spotting or marking. Pages and plates in good clean condition. A very attractive set. Very Good Plus.
