Collection of fables by Fontaine, accompanied by black and white illustrations. La Fontaine is considered one of the key fabulists, and one of the most influential early French writers, who served not only to inspire and shape French literature, but also fabulists of other countries as well. VERY GOOD books in GOOD slipcases. Minor toning and a hint of soiling to the wrappers. Volume 1 with a scuff mark to its front cover. Many pages unopened throughout each volume. Heavy fading to the slipcases, with some fraying and splitting along the extremities, including a notable split to the lower hinge (near opening) of volume 1. Very Good .

We charge a media ship rate of $4.50 for the first book plus $2.00 per each additional books. We ship internationally with the US post office. Shipping rates provided upon request based on the country of receipt. Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
