Illustrated brown cloth. Contents : 1. Loch Duich, Ross-shire; 2. The Black Rock, Ross-shire; 3. The Island of Lewis; 4. Assynt in Sutherland; 5. The Caithness Coast; 6. The Town of Thurso; 7. The Shetland Islands. There are three coloured illustrations of 3 Caithness Characters - Peelans, Moozie and Boustie with detailed descriptions of their eccentricities.. The boards are clean, unmarked and unfaded and in near fine condition. Some light pencil notes on the fep and the simple but signed bookplate of R MacDonald Robertson (Author of Angling in Wildest Scotland and several other historical works) opposite the half title. There is a touch of foxing of the prelims but still a very collectable or presentable copy. See scans. . Very Good +
