One of the main problems of small craft navigation is identification of landmarks and coastal features. Charts, though vital, give only the vaguest idea of the actual appearance of the coast. This book provides a picture of the coast, to scale, from the direction most commonly used. It consists of a series of views drawn from a distance varying between half a mile and four miles out to sea.
