An illustrated edition of Sheridan's popular play, providing a humorous and sometimes bawdy look at 18th century British society. POOR condition. Three plates DETACHED and laid in, 2 prior to act I and one facing page 21. Red crayon scribbles to the rear cover. Uneven scuffing, general fading and darkening to the covers. Some soiling and minor staining. Small circular area of discoloration at the front fore edge. Cloth worn along the extremities. Heavy foxing scattered throughout the book, with the binding somewhat shaken. Faint dampstain along the upper edge of the first few pages. Poor .

Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
