Calf rubbed, hinge joints split or starting to, but all boards still firmly attached, some minor wear loss on head tail of spines, more substantial loss on head of one spine. Internally, two plate detached, very minor worming to inner margine of a few pages in one volume. Pages and illustrations in good clean condition throughout. A very nice edition in attractive period bindings.Volume one bears the signature of Thom Baskerville, his bookplate in volume 2 & 3. A59. Good Plus.
