[2],142p;Original 1762 edition of this collection of poetry by one Alexander Pennecuik - Alexander Pennecuik, a merchant of Edinburgh was a prolific author of broadsides; he is said to have lived a dissipated life and to have died in straightened circumstances. He appears to have been a relation, or at least an acquaintance, of Dr. Alexander Pennecuik (1652-1722).( from English Poetry 1579-1830). Rebound long ago in thick paper boards.Text toned appropriately and a few old water marks of no great ignificance. Corners dog eared and glued binding beginning to give at front gutter.
