Book is completerly disbound, but all pages appear to be present. Front cover of First Section is missing and cover of Second Section is present and chipped. First and last few page also edge-chipped, notations and check marks in text, related articles pasted to half-title page. A fascinating handwritten note is laid-in, as well as an angry printed broadside denouncing and castigating the issuance of a pirated edition of Matthews' work. Avery scarce publication. Poor.
