Edition limited to 110 copies (this copy #85); 12 x 9; pp. [84]; textured paper in orange and blue over boards and 1/4 cloth; a faint scratch and small rubbed spot to lower half of front board; light fading and wear to margins and corners; in very good condition. Signed by Arno on the limitation page. Peter Arno, nee Curtis Arnoux Peters, Jr. (1904 - 1968) has been described as The New Yorker's "greatest cartoonist" and "the magazine's first genius." As was his custom, the current collection of cartoons was sophisticated, a bit naughty, and genuinely amusing. Very good .
