A cornerstone of the Marxist-Leninist Philosophy, Lenin fwrote his work between February and October of 1908 in Geneva and London. It would be a response to the three-volume "Empiriomonism" by his political rival within the Party - Alexander Bogdanov - and would ultimately enable the philosophical idea of Marxism to spread among the Party's members.
