(1870s); 7 x 5; steel engraving on card stock sheet with rounded corners and gilded edges; facsimile signature below image; spotting and foxing mostly to verso only; a few small, rubbed spots to top and bottom edges of recto (previously mounted [?]), not affecting illustration; in very good condition. A handsome portrait of the 18th President of the United States, it was published by Henry Bryan Hall (1808 - 1884) - British-American stipple engraver and painter, who would become famous for his portraits of figures of the American history. Very good .
