(ca 1935); pieces unbroken, laid on a card stock piece and sealed with a plastic film; 9 x 12; minor wear to edges of pieces; very good or better condition. Envelope printed in black; small creases and tears to corners; very good condition. An interesting advertising piece, it was offered to customers with the purchase of Kolynos Dental Cream "that whitens teeth 3 shades in 3 days." The brand of oral care products was created by Newell Sill Jenkins in 1908 and became extremely popular in the 1930s and 1940s. Among other things, it sponsored several well-loved radio programs and was mentioned in several classic literary works, including "The Catcher in the Rye" and "Midnight's Children. Very good .
