On paper size 34 by 27 cm. Hanc Viennae Quam vides Geometricam faciem Archimedem Siracusanum Augustinas Hirsfogel a sua depic. tam radio imitatus est Ano. MDXLVII. Includes a compass rose and an image of King Ferdinand in a cartouche. The map shows the walled city of Vienna, its streets, bridges, churches and over 130 numbered features though there is no key to identify them. Walls, gates, churches and the fortifications around the city are shown in a stylised manner. One small foxing spot and a closed tear outside the margins of the map repaired to the reverse with clear archival standard tape. Has been folded. Good condition. Images available.
