Published by the London Printing and Publishing Company circa 1850. Scale 25 miles to the inch. Size 37 by 26 cm. Hand-coloured. Heights shown by shading or hachuring. Decorative borders. With five vignettes of local scenes engraved by Winkles including Adam's Peak a view of Columbo and the Lake of Kandy. Three very small nicks to edges outside the borders of the map. Good to VG.
