Wasson, George S. - Home from Sea

Boston, Houghton Mifflin, 1908. First Edition. Hard Cover. First edition. Hard cover. No jacket. 334 pages plus ads. With several illustrations by the author. A collection of tales of sailing and sea-faring off the Maine coast, capturing the Maine dialect and life along the North Atlantic coast. With the signature of Harry R. Lowd on the first blank endpaper. Bound in sea blue cloth with gilt titling and light blue decorations of anchors on the front cover and spine. In GOOD condition. Moderate but deep scuff marks to the rear cover. Light scuffing to the extremities. Slight darkening to the spine. Text solid with some darkening to the pages. Pages 70-75 and page 91 have the name or sentence with the name Izetta underlined in pencil. Still a charming copy of this work in GOOD condition. Ill.: Wasson, George S. Good/No Jacket.
