Book, Carte de la Terre des Hebreux ou Israelites with an inset map titled La Monarchie des Hebreux sous Solomon ou la Royaume d'Israel based on manuscripts by N & G Sanson by Robert de Vaugondy engraved by Delahaye and published Paris 1745. On paper laid to linen size 78 by 52 cm. One large map of the land of the 12 tribes descended from the sons of Jacob plus an inset second map of the region separated from the larger map by a sybolic scroll. Both maps have two scales in stades and milles. Some hand-colouring to borders and divisions. Includes a detailed key to the various tribes and their lands. Has been rolled but will flatten. Good to VG condition. Images available.
