O'Brian knew Picasso and lived near him; he also spoke several languages, including Catalan (he was a translator of books), which helped with the deep research he did for the book. As with his historical fiction, the biography is informative and reads well. Nearly fine, very small nick at the bottom of the front joint; jacket chipped at the same place. Very Good/Very Good.
