Published by Carrington Bowles London 1782 and corrected to 1788. On folding linen in 48 sections size 130 by 103 cm. With a large decorative cartouche containing the title a compass rose and a panel of explanatory text. Includes an inset map of the Isles of Scilly. Hand coloured. A very detailed map. Occasional signs of use to sea areas and some of the sections are beginning to lift from the line at the edges but overall in Good to VG condition. Folds into original slipcase rubbed to edges but otherwise sound. Images available.
