Also titled Stimpson's Boston Directory containing the names of inhabitants their occupations places of business and dwelling houses and the city register with lists of the streets lanes and wharves the city officers public offices and banks and other useful information. In stiff original boards size 15.5 by 10 cm. 352 pages plus another 26 pp of advertising relating to local businesses. There is no map though the list of contents would appear to indicate that this edition may not have had one. In new dark leather spine. Early owner's name in ink to contents page which also has a small repair to the top. Text in front board and back board faded otherwise Good condition. Images available.
