London, Ordnance Survey. 1830. Book, Ordnance Survey Map of North Devon sheet XXVII circa 1830. Engraved by Baker under the direction of Colonel Mudge and originally published by the Ordnance Survey at the Tower of London 1809. On folding linen in 18 sections size 98 by 63 cm. Scale one inch to the mile. Covers an area of the north Devon coast east from Braunton Burrows to around Countesbury and includes Barnstaple and part of Exmoor. There are no railways or signs that this is a later revision though the map folds into blue marbled endpapers. VG condition. Images available.
