London, Smith. 1885. Book, W H Smith's Railway Map of London and Environs engraved by Bartholomew and published by Smith London circa 1885. On folding linen size 30 inches by 24. Scale one inch to the mile. Colour. A key provides information on railways and stations underground railways lines for which Acts have been obtained tramways etc. No date but dated 1887 in ink to the front endpaper by an early owner. Covers an area in the north from from Chalfont St. Giles across to Chigwell and from Woking across to Fanborough and Cudham in Kent. Vg condition.
