This appears to be an edition from about 1840. On folding linen in 24 sections size 79 by 66 cm. Scale 15 miles to the inch. Hand-coloured. A key provides details of railways canals rivers hills parks turnpike roads post towns supplying a change of horses gentlemen's seats castles market towns villages towns cities polling places and various and various administrative boundaries etc. The map is surrounded by a piano key style border with latitude and longitude marked along the sides. Folds into recent stiff black cloth covered boards with new endpapers. Good to VG condition. Images available.
