Book, Bradshaw's Railway Companion containing the times of departure fares etc. of the railways in England published by Bradshaw and Blacklock Manchester 1842. In cloth-covered boards size 12 by 7.5 cm. with a gold label with the title to the front 108 pages: 80 pages of timetables and train information 20 pages of maps-some hand-coloured- and one folding map of the railways of England and Wales. Complete with four double-page city plans (Leeds Birmingham Liverpool and Manchester) and a small folding map of London. Some rubbing to publishers' details at foot of the title page and this page appears to have been pasted over an earlier version. Includes a fairly long section on cab fares in London and other cities. Binding and contents Good to VG condition. Images available.
