Published as a memento in honor of the 350-year reign of the Romanov Family, the book represents a remarkably well documented chronology of the rulers - completed with photographs and milestones of each one of them beginning with Mikhail Fedorovich Romanov (Mikhail I of Russia, 1596-1645) and ending with the last Romanov born at the time of publication - Grand Duchess of Russia Maria Vladimirovna Romanova (Madrid, b. 1953-) and great-great-granddaughter of Alexander II of Russia. The book was published by the 'All-Russian Monarchist Front,' a pro-Monarchy organization of White Emigres in the United States, under the leadership of Boris Leo Brasol (1885 - 1963) - a criminologist, literary critic, and one of the first to help translate the 'Protocols of the Elders of Zion' in the US.
