Book, England Dissected for the Instruction of Youth in Geography a jigsaw published by Rowe London circa 1815 and based on a map of England and Wales with the principal Roads and Distances of the County Towns from London by Robert Rowe circa 1815. Size 30.5 by 26 cm. and on a scale of 40 miles to the inch. Some hand colouring of borders. Complete with original wooden box 19 by 14 by 3 cm. with its sliding lid and label. Lacks four pieces one of part of North Wales and three small pieces of England. Good condition with minor chips and the loss of only four pieces. Images available.
