London, Leigh. 1824. Book, Leigh's New Road Map of England Wales and Scotland engraved by Sidney Hall and published by Leigh London circa 1824. In two parts a Northern and a Southern sheet. Both sheets are on folding linen and in 21 sections each 75 by 50 cm. Scale approximately 12 miles to the inch. Good condition with occasional foxing and one fold strengthened to reverse with linen repair tape. Maps have pictorial fronts and leather backs and may once have been in a pocket carrying case. Some wear to leather. Images available.
