Together with A Complete and Reliable History of The Polaris Expedition : Under the Late Captain C. F. Hall, from Official and Trustworthy Sources, Embracing the Important Discoveries of the Heroic Explorer, Who Attained a Latitude Farther North Than Ever Before Reached; His Singular and Untimely Death on the Very Eve of His Great Triumph; the Remarkable Rescue of Captain Tyson and Others of the Crew from a Floating Field of Ice, etc. etc. etc. A popular, but fairly detailed, account of arctic expeditions by English speakers up to that time. Name/address stamped on end page; name/date written on another end page; 3 worm holes in margins that each go through about 60 pages but none of them affect any text; very light damp stain on last 65 pages or so; bottom corner of most pages worn or chewed away a little; small strip of cloth missing at head of spine; wear at foot of spine; some staining to covers and browning of pages. Good/No Jacket.
