Architectural Antiquarian Booksellers Opbouw specializes in rare and out-of-print books, periodicals, posters and prints (especially the development of urban plans from industrialization onwards) concerning architecture, town planning, (social) housing, building construction, modern art, applied art, interior decoration, design, photography, typography, garden- and landscape architecure. Several thousands of items are in stock permanently, emphasis on 20th century, while also stocking old and rare books occasionally. Opbouw developped an extensive booksearch-service in all mentioned fields (searchlists preferably to be sent to our email address ), advices collections and appraises rare items and lots.
Until february 2010 Opbouw was located in the shop of Architectura & Natura, one of the best specialized bookshops in architecture and garden- and landscape architecture in Europe: Leliegracht 22, 1015 DG Amsterdam, The Netherlands. From february 2010 on Opbouw merely operates as a webshop. By the middle of 2010 visits by appointment shall be possible.
Architectuurantiquariaat Opbouw is gespecialiseerd in de verkoop en inkoop van boeken, tijdschriften, posters, kalenders en prenten (vooral de ontwikkeling van stadsplattegronden vanaf het begin van de industrialisatie) betreffende architectuur en de gerelateerde gebieden stedenbouw, volkshuisvesting, bouwkunde, moderne kust, toegepaste kunst, interieur, design, fotografie, typografie en tuin- en landschapsarchitectuur. Steeds zijn enkele duizenden items op voorraad, waarbij de nadruk ligt op de moderne tijd, maar ook werken betreffende de klassieke architectuur (oude boeken) zijn regelmatig aanwezig. Opbouw heeft een intensieve zoekdienst ontwikkeld, functionerend in een uitgebreid netwerk van contacten in de beroepswereld en verzamelaars; tevens adviseert Opbouw inzake collectievorming en taxeert het bijzondere werken en partijen.
Opbouw (voorheen gevestigd in de winkel van Architectura & Natura, Leliegracht 22, 1015 DG Amsterdam, één van de grootste vakboekhandels, gespecialiseerd in architectuur en tuin- en landschapsarchitectuur in Europa) opereert vanaf 1 februari 2010 louter als webwinkel. Medio 2010 zal bezoek op afspraak mogelijk zijn .

All items offered are complete and in good antiquarian condition, unless otherwise described. Smaller imperfections have not always been mentioned. Sizes in cm circa, wide x height.

After having received your order a remail will be send containing availability and the total sum due, so including postage/insurance (on request) and bankcharges. Payments in advance and within two weeks after receipt of the (pro form) invoice/e-mail.
Preferable (intereuropean) payment is the direct IBAN/BIC transfer by bank/giro to:

while International Money Order, Paypal (outside europe), cash and Visacard (outside europe) are also accepted. Each forwarding is buyer's risk. Orders may be done by e-mail, telephone, post and telefax. Institutions and universities may pay afterwards.
All items, not corresponding to the internet descriptions or otherwise given information may be returned at our cost, however being in the same condition/packed/insured as sent, within one week after receipt: full repay will follow. Other returns to be done within one week after receipt, being in the same condition/packed/insured as sent and at the buyers' cost. All returns have to be announced promptly.

Na bestelling ontvangt u een e-mail aangaande de beschikbaarheid en de totale kosten, dus inclusief verzendkosten/verzekering(op verzoek). Betaling vooraf en binnen twee weken na ontvangst e-mail te voldoen aan Opbouw Rotterdam, gironummer 4537466. Elke verzending is voor risico van de koper.
Leveranties, die niet corresponderen met de internetbeschrijving kunnen op onze kosten worden geretourneerd, overige retouren op kosten van de koper.
Retouren moeten vooraf worden gemeld en verkeren in dezelfde staat/verpakt/verzekerd als verstuurd.
