We are mail order Natural History book sellers, offering new, used and antiquarian stock, specialising in literature on herpetology and ichthyology.

At the present time our business is conducted by mail order only and we regret that we are unable to accommodate visitors.

We offer a free 'no obligation' book search service for scarce and difficult to obtain items.




Terms of Sale

Unless alternative arrangements have been agreed, all orders must be paid in full prior to despatch.

Shipping/postage and handling/packaging is charged extra and is determined by weight and destination.

All items offered in our inventory are available from stock at the time of listing and subject to prior sale.

Please contact us before placing your order to confirm availability and shipping options.

We will reserve books for 7 days pending a decision.

All items remain the property of Graham Newland (Natural History Books) until paid for in full.

We are able to offer the following purchase options:
1. Our preferred method of payment is via PayPal in GBP£Sterling using Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Switch, Solo or MasterCard.
2. Cheque or money order in GBP£Sterling drawn on a UK bank account (please make payable to G. NEWLAND).
3. Cash in GBP£Sterling, US dollars and Euros (subject to current exchange rates).

Return policy
We make every effort to describe our stock as carefully and accurately as possible, detailing any noticeable defects. If however, any item is considered not to match our description, we will accept returns by prior arrangement (within 7 days of receipt).
In the case of damaged items or where the item is not considered to be as described, we will refund the original cost of postage/shipping and the cost of returning the item.
In instances whereby the customer simply decides they do not want the item, then the cost of the original postage/shipping, together with the cost of returning the item must be paid by the customer.
All returned items must be securely packaged and returned to us in the same condition they were received.
