We lost our store at Shand's Emporium 88 Hereford Street, Christchurch
in the February 2011 earthquake, but will re-open a shop as soon as we are able. Currently mail order sales only.
Specialty interests are occult, metaphysics, religion and mythology.
Terms of Sale
Payment in advance of shipping by Paypal ( includes credit card), Western Union, or cash may be sent by registered mail at senders own risk in US dollars, Euros, Pounds Sterling or Australian dollars, international bank cheques (issued by a trading bank, not drawn from a personal account) issued in New Zealand dollars are acceptable, contact for correct amount based on exchange rate at the time. International Bank Transfers accepted with NZ $12 bank fee added to invoice, but if the book price is Euro 120 or more then this fee is waived. For New Zealand buyers we request direct bank deposit or cheques only please.
Shipping Insurance:
Insurance above NZ$250 is NZ$10 extra (up to NZ$1500 cover). Or we can use a courier service for increased cover at greater shipping charge.
Return Policy:
Books received which are markedly different from the description, or damaged in transit, may be returned within 7 days locally or 30 days internationally for a full refund of the book cost, less shipping, after prior agreement with the seller. Please make no returns until we have agreed on a remedy to the situation.
All orders shipped by economy air mail with up to 4 weeks to international destinations apart from 1 week for Australia and New Zealand. Expedited shipping will cost EUR $5 extra for an estimated 2 week delivery time; Prices in Euros; average book is 1 kg, paperbacks 500g, sets probably 1kg per volume

Australia 200g Euro 3.00 ; 500g Euro 5.00 ; 1kg (standard) Euro 8.00
Rest of World 200g Euro 5.00 ; 500g Euro 9.00 ; 1kg (standard) Euro 16.00
OVERSIZED RATES
Weights greater than 1000 grams will be charged a proportionally increased rate. I.E. 2500 grams will be charged at x2.5 standard 1kg rate.
