We are a small on-line only bookseller located in the high country of Western New Mexico. We have a strong selection of books on South and Central Asian history, art and religion. We also have a good catalog of Twentieth Century motion picture literature, British and American theatre books, photography books and 20th Century first editions. We buy and sell what we read; books that have stood the test of time, bits of history that have caught our eyes. and whatever other oddities that have sailed in over the transom.
Payment and Shipping
Cost of shipping by USPS media mail within the United States is $4.10 for the first book, unless the book is oversized and is mentioned as such in the description, then we ship at actual cost. We will gladly combine shipping for multiple purchases. If you are purchasing more than one book please wait to pay until we weigh the total package and send you an invoice.
If you need a book urgently we will do everything we can to insure it arrives as long as you are specific about your needs and willing to pay any costs that we might incurr in making expedited arrangements.
We ship overseas either by International First Class, which is most economical but doesn't permit insurance, or Global Priority if insurance is advisable or requested.
Returns and Cancellation
If you need to cancel an order, please email us within 24 hours of placing the order, otherwise it is likely to have been sent.
In a perfect world, every sale would end with prompt payment, good communications, quick shipping and mutually satisfied buyers and sellers. However, because we don't live in a perfect world, problems may arise. If problems arise in the transaction, whether on our end or yours, the best remedy is to communicate effectively and quickly. We will try to make every reasonable effort to resolve any issues, and expect the same from our buyers.
We accept returns if mailed within 14 days of arrival, books must return in the same condition as when they were sent out. Please email us first so we know that a return is on the way.
I prefer Paypal. I accept checks and money orders drawn on U.S.banks, but items will not ship until check clears. Outside of the U.S. Paypal please.
