Alcuin Books was begun in California in 1979 as a catalog bookseller. Since 1991 we have operated an open store at in Arizona. Our new and expanded store is located at 4242 N. Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale, Arizona. We are members of the ABAA and ILAB. Expanded hours are available by appointment. Our specialties deal with all aspects of history, the humanities, and science as well as the unusual collectible book or ephemera. Rare and unusual books along with important out-of-print books make up the larger part of our collection. In addition, we have performed over 500 written appraisals including those done for the FBI and we have served as expert witness in US District Court as well as local courts.
Prices are in US dollars. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. US Checks and International Money Orders are other means of payment we accept. Wire transfer is acceptable with an added charge by us of our bank's fee of $25.00. Shipping US is $6.00 for the first item and $3.00 for each additional item. Overseas shipping is available to most countries via Global Priority, All books and ephemera are carefully described but if any purchase is not satisfactory, it is returnable within 10 days of receipt of item.
